About the author

Born and raised on the South East Texas coast. I grew up
fishing on the coastal waters of South East Texas and South
West Louisiana. Born the son of a Master Mariner the water
was a natural attraction. I learned early in life to appreciate all
that the great outdoors has to offer and developed a good
under standing of the elements. Fishing anytime and anywhere
I had the chance provided the ability to continuously gain
knowledge. In the early 90’s I broke the Texas state record for
red fish. Being very successful and having a deep passion for
angling, I discovered the joy of helping others do the same.  I
have been a  fishing guide for  over 16 years, guiding
customers from every state in the U.S. I have fished the back
waters to far offshore, compiling many trophy and record
catches as well as major tournament wins for myself and
clients. Hosting radio shows, seminars, and providing fishing
reports for major publications. I continue the sport of angling
and appreciating all that the great outdoors has to offer, as
each outing always has something new to learn.

banquets,seminars ,book signings and other fishing-boating
related events.
